Are you Interested in Increasing your Google PageRank?

Posted on Nov 29, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

You should be. If you have never heard of Google PageRank and you have established a website, it is high time you learned about Google PageRank and what it means to you and the success of your website. Having an excellent Google PageRank can either make or break a website in terms of overall success. Let’s take a look at what Google PageRank is and why it is so important to every website owner.

First, a word about the Google Search engine: Google is one of the most popular search engines on the Internet. Not only is Google’s search engine the absolute largest of its kind, the company focuses on making web information easy to access and even easier to find. Google has designed a unique system and the search engine has yet to be surpassed in terms of the information it provides. Google has grown immensely since its early beginning in 1996 and it will continue to be a predominant force on the Internet. Furthermore, because Google offers easy access to immediate information, they own one of the top Internet search engines in the world. Thus, it would serve a webmaster well to become familiar with the Google PageRank process-the Google PageRank is an algorithm that is based on inbound links and other factors and will ultimately determine the location of listing of your website in the Google Search Engine.

What precisely is Google PageRank?

Google PageRank is a process the search engine’s uses as a way of selecting sites to answer specific queries. Basically, when an Internet user submits a query, the Google search engine will attempt to match websites to the query that has been posed. Yet, there is a bit more to this simple science than the act of submitting a query suggests. Rather, behind the scenes, Google uses specific algorithms to determine if a site specifically address a web user’s needs by analyzing the content of a site by keyword and by the number of inbound links associated with the site-every inbound link is viewed as a vote and the more votes one has, in conjunction with the more keywords one has, the higher their Google PageRank is.

Why is Your Google PageRank Significant?

What does it mean to you when your Google PageRank is increased? Does it really matter what your Google PageRank is at all? You bet it does-the higher your Google PageRank is the higher on a search engine’s listing your website will appear. Thus, if you are looking for top billing, especially in a search engine as popular as the one Google offers, you will definitely want to maximize your efforts of getting your website visible and improving your PageRank is the best way to accomplish such a task. Moreover, the higher you appear on the search engine listing offered by Google, or many other search engines, the easier your website is to find. Essentially this equates to more web traffic for your website and if you are running an online business, more web traffic ultimately means more profit for you.

Making Google PageRank Improvements

If you are looking to improve your Google PageRank you can do so by starting a link campaign. A link campaign can help you increase more inbound links to your website and in turn, more inbound links will increase your Google PageRank. How do you start a link campaign? Well, you can go the hard route by scouring the Internet to find websites similar to your own. Or, you can make your link campaign a far easier process by using the services afforded to you by PageRank Browser and locate all of the best, themed websites on the Internet with relative ease.

Of course, there are few things you must bear in mind when you begin your link campaign. Google actually rates various links and holds some links higher than others. In other words, if you link to 100 less than popular sites you may increase your Google PageRank. Conversely, if you link to 50 extremely popular sites and you get inbound links in return, you may significantly increase your Google PageRank because the most popular sites on the Internet are linking directly too you. Thus, when you begin your link campaign, keep this popularity issue in the back of your mind. Further, know that in using PageRank Browser, you will be able to locate the popular sites with ease, and thereby significantly increase your Google PageRank.

About Inbound Links

Quite frankly, some links that you will establish will be better than others. You goal will be to establish the best links possible by examining the quality of inbound links. Various webmaster tools can help you determine the quality of the reciprocal links you establish. You will want to work hard at establishing direct inbound links to your site-direct links from already popular websites. You will also need to establish links to websites that are similar to yours-remember the search engine algorithm used by Google to determine your page rank is based on relevance. You will also find that the location of inbound links is of significant importance. For example, when you establish inbound links, those links that are buried deep within a website will have less influence on the ranking of your website in Google’s search engine.

What is clear is that your Google PageRank is of significant importance. Thus, every effort should be used to improve your Google PageRank-with the use of webmaster tools and the use of sites like PageRank Browser you should have little difficulty getting your PageRank right where it should be. Therefore, you will not only improve your PageRank you will improve the web traffic you receive by leaps and bounds. Moreover, your improved PageRank will make you a force on the Internet to be reckoned with-you will have a highly recognizable website for all your efforts and you will ultimately improve your online business’ bottom line.

How to Optimize a Social Network Page for Maximum Impact Part II

Posted on Nov 27, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

Search for members that are likely to buy your products or avail of your services. Visit their pages and interact with them through private message or through message boards. Once you have acquired a great deal of “friends”, you can easily pitch in your products by posting ads on your bulletin. This is a great way to reach your prospective clients without spending your precious dime on advertising.

Making a fortune in social networking sites can be really handy if you know how to use their members, tools, and features to your own advantage. After following the tips that I have mentioned, don’t just sit back and relax and expect your business to grow instantly. The key here is to follow through. Continue making “friends” by searching for new members that are likely to become your client. Spend at least 2-3 hours a day interacting with your “friends” to boost your exposure.

Continuously update your social network page by either posting new images, videos, testimonials, and content. Also, regularly check your hyperlinked keywords to make sure that all the links pointing to your site are properly working. Lastly, take advantage of the social networking bulletin where you can pitch in your products and services. Just do not overdo it though if you don’t want to be tagged as a spammer. It is recommended that you post to bulletins when you have promotion, new products to offer, and when your company or products have been recognized.

Social networking sites can bring traffic to your main site, but contrary to some of the propaganda online today, it does involve some hard work.

Beyond Article Marketing - Highly Qualified Social Traffic - For Free

Posted on Nov 27, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

Unless you have been sleeping under a rock for the past year, you would know that a wave is sweeping through the Internet Marketing industry. Potentially more powerful than search engine optimization or traditional traffic generators like article and press release submission, social-based forms of traffic generation are increasingly becoming the traffic “weapon of choice” for Internet Marketers on the cutting edge.

Social traffic generation differentiates itself from other forms of traffic generation because it has a strong social or relationship aspect.

Rather than rely on search engine algorithms to drive traffic to your site, social traffic generation is very much an adaption of the brick-and-mortar “word of mouth” neighbourhood/office gossip communication network, given an online, digital spin.

Sites like Yahoo! MyBlogLog, the BumpZEE affiliate marketing network and MySpace are one of the examples of social traffic networks.

These networks primary focus is a means of gathering like-minded individuals in one central location and providing opportunities for them to interact.

The gathering of like-minded individuals helps sieve a community of highly-focused and highly-targeted individuals, especially if you target a community specific to a niche you are developing.

It is possible to find communities focused on scrapbooking, pet tarantula upkeep, as it is to find one focused on Microsoft’s Xbox360 game console, or the hottest pop band.

But finding the community is only the first step.

To create an account and initiate contact with a message like “Come visit my website and download free cell phone ringtones now!” is apt to get you banned, and for repeated infractions, blacklisted.

This will obviously kill off any chance to get any social traffic out of the community.

Think of social traffic generation as the process of building a human relationship.

First you start out as strangers, then acquaintances, friends, close friends and finally confidants.

If a confidant gave a recommendation for a service you were looking for, maybe a cell phone provider, you would be much more likely to consider their advice, rather than the same suggestion from a complete stranger.

Attempting to escalate the relationship immediately once you create and join a new community is tantamount to social suicide (unless the possess the online persona of a digital Casanova).

Social communities have their own social rules and norms, just like their real world physical counterparts.

Understanding the mechanics of social dynamics and intricacies of social transactions will give you a foundation in generating an unlimited source of social traffic.

Increase Traffic to Your Website Using Web 2.0

Posted on Nov 26, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

So you want to get some more hits on your website, but you don’t want to pay for it? You can do this with the new emerging Web 2.0 websites that are popping up like wild flowers.

What is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is not a brand new internet that you’ve never heard of, it’s the same internet only better and more sociable. That’s the key word with this thing, “social”. People are getting together on the web, I don’t just mean in the dating sense. They are interacting and sharing experiences, photos, comments, reviews, bookmarks etc. Pretty much anything you can share is being shared on the web today.

Facebook is allowing people from all over the world to keep in touch and keep tabs on what everyone is up to. Twitter allows connected users to quickly “tweet” what they are doing to other twitters. You Tube is revolutionizing the way we watch video, people from all walks of life are uploading home videos and quickly becoming the next generation of producers and directors.

So how can Web 2.0 help me get more traffic, for free?

The magic word is “backlinks”. You sign up as a user at one of the web 2.0 sites and begin to contribute information. Many of these sites will have a bio section where you can include a link to your website (backlink). There are many places like blogger, squidoo, hubpages, wordpress and many other blog sites where you can write about your business and industry, and place a backlink to your website. These sites are viewed by millions of people daily and make it a pretty sure bet that someone will click on your link to visit your site for more information.

Hey, you can even use article sites, just like ezine articles to publish your content, and yes, of course, include your link.

–Stay tuned for our next article on how to use bookmarking sites to get even more free traffic.

Social Networking Website Design - Why You Need to Hire the Best

Posted on Nov 24, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

The successful development of social networking websites requires an advanced knowledge of the social networking website phenomenon. What works and what doesn’t in this web 2.0 focused online experience. Avoid the costly mistake of having a network designed with obsolete coding methods that can’t be expanded upon. If you have a great concept, you need to be able to speak with a design and development company that specializes in social networks and can translate your vision into a successful and fully functioning website.

The fact you probably have limited knowledge of coding that works behind the scenes should not be a detriment to the realization of your website concept. Chances are, you are probably an incredibly talented idea person, successful in business, highly innovative, maybe even a serial entrepreneur. The first thing you need to do is find the company that can allow you to do what you do best, and entrust the technical components to a team that specializes in developing a multi-faceted online presence.

Search for a company with experience creating social networks. Although your concept is unique, the functionality of most of the features included in your site is rarely as inclusive as it needs to be from a detail-oriented programmer’s standpoint. You don’t want to pay an inexperienced company to reinvent the wheel and, in the process, have you finance their learning curve. Look for a company who has designed a social networking website.

Other important criteria to look for are accessibility and stability of the web design company that you hire. Search for a web design company with an in-house programming team who you can teleconference with throughout the process of your project. Not only will this allow you to have regular communication on the progress, but you will also know that the bulk of the work is not being contracted to an offshore company for pennies on the dollar. Ask to speak to the programmers who will be working on the project. You’ve just eliminated the vast majority of the people who say they can get the job done but end up just wasting your money.

With so many social networks on the circuit now, the design of a social networking website absolutely requires an experienced web development team to ensure its success. By now you have lined up some web design companies who have demonstrated skill and expertise. Now it’s time to find out which company is both professional and organized. Attention to detail is a must when creating a website with thousands of lines of code. At this point it’s time to sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect you idea. Set up a time to discuss your project in depth with the project manager and creative director of the company, and ask for a detailed project proposal. The project proposal you receive should detail the features to be created and a time line for the project. If the proposal is unorganized, lacking detail and difficult in general to understand, you have just eliminated another prospective candidate who would potentially compromise a very important investment and idea.

If your in need of a professional social networking website design company specializing in social network design & development. Pearse Street Inc has an in-house web programming team experienced in social networking website development. Find out more about this social networking website design company at http://pearsestreet.com . Overseeing the creative direction on projects will be Pearse Street Consulting C.E.O. Fuchsia McInerney, recommended by executives in the ranks at both Google and MySpace.

Is Your Web Hosting Company a Pretender?

Posted on Nov 24, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

When is a web hosting company not a web hosting company? When it’s a VAR.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with being a VAR (value added reseller) - I’ve been one many times in the past, and will likely be again.

It’s just that people typically don’t understand what a web hosting company is - or does - and when it comes to their online business they make some questionable decisions because of it.

For instance…

Recently I was consulting with a client and they asked my opinion of a hosting package their web design firm had offered them. *STOP RIGHT THERE* There’s your first BIG CLUE…

Your web design firm is in the business of designing web sites. Making your web site look a certain way. Sometimes the web design firm may have coders on staff who can program the site to behave a certain way (and coding a webpage is not the same as coding a database application,) and sometimes the web design firm has writers on staff who can make the site read a certain way (and writing your company profile is not the same as writing your primary sales and landing pages…) And don’t even get me started about SEO, Internet marketing and general strategic online business development advice!

But I seriously doubt they have a multi-million dollar environmentally controlled, fire suppression enabled, multi-point redundancy, 24-hour monitored, data center in their back room.

Now THAT’S a hosting center.

Most pretenders err.. most hosting companies are really VARs, and here’s the rub, these pretenders often charge 100 times the actual cost of hosting and deliver 1% of the service package.

Now before I get loads of angry letters from quality hosting VARs I should say that they are not all like this. I do however bring up this huge discrepancy and tell you this tale to illuminate a point that drives me nuts.

Just because someone can code up a web page doesn’t mean you should entrust them with your online business presence and hosting. It certainly doesn’t mean you should trust them with your online marketing, and it especially means you shouldn’t automatically trust them with your online brand reputation either.

These are all important points that require special skills - some companies have the mix, some do not. Do you know which questions to ask and how to tell a Pretender?

I know the web is still a brave new world (as of writing, it’s just over 14 years old!) and you’d be forgiven if you still don’t quite ‘get it’ - that’s why you need to take care and ask more questions and work with a proper web strategist/consultant who’s been around the block a few times.

Remember before focusing my efforts as a corporate web strategist and online marketing expert I was a VP of IT and Consulting and managed multi-million dollar software development projects across most major continents for banks, governments and major manufacturers. Managing upwards of 50 people, I’ve personally built and sold software solutions for over 30 years now, and even pioneered online systems that pre-date the Internet (try creating a TV based hyper linked TeleText system in the mid 80’s… now that’s creative)

Anyhoo… I’m a little off-topic.

The conclusion of my tale was this. I recommended a direct hosting source (one of the major players in this field) and provided their price. The client declined telling me that it was “too cheap” and that they would stay with the web design firm *sigh* So I pointed out the firm was a VAR and in this instance was charging them nearly 100 times over cost for 1% of the service…

Call me crazy, but spending 100 times more than I need seems unnecessary. But that’s just me…

Multilingual SEO - The Global Language of Your Business

Posted on Nov 24, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

Business takes you places. With the growth of the world economy and technical advancement, business is now conducted in a global village, where clients look for innovative and customized solutions towards their business. Multilingual Search engine optimization (SEO) unleashes a new blood into your business by promoting your business to your targeted audience across the globe, increasing online visibility and opening an array of opportunities to bring the right traffic and right business to your site.

Customers are the life line for any business. Multilingual SEO starts with knowing where your clients are likely to be searching, what they are searching for and what they expect to see on your site. Multilingual SEO lets you talk to these customers in their native language via localized search engines and opens the door to new and lucrative markets. Multilingual SEO helps you to tap and unlock new markets and create new customers for your products and services and reach millions of non-English speaking customers.

Is Multilingual SEO right for your business? Are you looking to explore new markets for your products and services? Are you looking to market to a global audience? if the answer is ‘yes’ to the above questions, then Multilingual SEO is something that you need to explore to give your business the means to establish a niche . So how can Multilingual SEO help you to achieve that? Preparing your website for a multilingual search engine submission campaign takes much more than just translating a page and its Meta tags. In fact, over 90% of all translated pages featured online do not respect the ongoing rules and regulations of foreign search engines! Each language has specific technical ramifications that require attention to its own language algorithm and this is where you need to hire a professional Multilingual SEO company having native staff on board to provide you an effective platform to communicate with your target audience.

Multilingual search engine promotion is not about communicating with foreigners in their mother tongue but rather bringing international communities to your website to do business with you in English. The fact that someone in Japan will type your keywords in Japanese on the Japanese Google or on the Japanese Yahoo does not mean that such person does not speak English! Multilingual SEO increases your international online visibility and it helps create brand image that it takes an extra step to reach out its customers globally. Multilingual SEO is essential for companies having an international presence but it can be useful equally handy closer to home. If a large section of your customer base is Hispanic and speaks Spanish at home, there is a good chance that they also surf the Internet in Spanish and would come across a Spanish version of your website before they find the English version of your website. So what language does your business speak?

One of the main goals of most web business owners and webmasters is to increase the number of visitors (known as the amount of “traffic”) to their web site. In particular, they want to increase the total number of visitors interested in their site’s topic (known as “targeted traffic”). The reason for this is quite simple - the more interested people you have visiting your web site, generally speaking, the more money that you can make, whether it is by selling your own products, from promoting affiliate programs, or from displaying banner and text adverts.

One of the best sources of traffic on the Internet is search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. This is because most people, when they are looking for a web site about a subject that interests them, begin by looking at search engines. People type in the keyword that they are looking for, see the search results, and then generally visit one or more of the top few web sites listed. Thus if a web site owner can find a way to get their site to come near the top of the results for searches on relevant keywords, they can increase the amount of targeted traffic their web site gets.

The tasks involved in getting towards the top of the search results are known as “Search Engine Optimization”, or simply “SEO” for short. Basically they involve analyzing your web site and its content, analyzing data from search engines, customizing the design and content of your site, and working to increase the number of incoming links to your web site. Many of these activities involve working with large volumes of data or can become repetitive - in other words, the types of things that are best done with the help of computer software.

There are in fact a wide variety of computer software programs for SEO on the market. Unlike some other categories of software, most of these SEO programs are delivered as downloads rather than on physical media such as CD-ROM - no doubt because people needing help with SEO generally already have an Internet connection and are quite Internet-savvy.

Some of the main types of SEO downloads and software include:

1. Programs for researching and identifying keywords - for example, these programs may allow you to tell what types of keywords people are searching for, and to give you suggestions for what keywords your web site should target.

2. Programs for optimizing your web site. These for example can analyze the content of your web pages, and suggest possible changes which may result in improvements in your search ranking. Some programs of this type can even create entire web sites from scratch.

3. Programs for obtaining links to your site, for example, by automating the link exchange process.

4. Search engine cloakers - these are programs which allow you to present one page or set of content to the search engines, and another to web surfers. Use of such programs, is to put it mildly controversial, since such programs may be misused, and search engines are opposed to such software. You should also be aware that search engines have been known to permanently ban sites that use cloaking - which is why I personally would not use such programs.

5. Tutorials and informational products.

Of course you will probably also find that there are other types of programs too, and some programs that span more than one category. In any case, if you are serious about raising your profile in search engines and getting more traffic to your web site, I would certainly recommend that you look into this area.

Internet Marketing Strategy: The Write Way To Get Web Site Traffic

Posted on Nov 23, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

Since the birth of the commercial Internet good writing has driven the development and search engine positioning of web sites. Good web site content (next to keywords) has been and always will be the King, Queen and whole Royal Court of marketing success on the web.

When you’re trying to develop a successful web site you soon realize that your web site content is an important part of your success strategy. Web sites with great content are much more likely to get great traffic results than those which are filled with junk articles and lousy headlines.

The more interesting and diverse your content, the better traffic results you will have. However, when trying to get the right mixture of content, you may well become frustrated. This is especially true if you are not a strong writer. However the following tips/ strategies will help you appreciate the value of good web site content and the decisions you need to make to create the best content for your web site.

Care About The Content You Create/ Use.

Far to often web site owners give very little thought to the content on their web site. This happens much more frequently than one might expect with people who claim to be web professionals. However, without good content on your site the repercussions are immediate.

If you want better web site traffic results then make the creation of good content for your web site your priority. Whether you write the content yourself, or hire professional writers to develop this content for you it needs to be quality writing.

Someone who has passion for the subject should write this content. The more passionate the writer is about a topic, the better the writing will be. Usually, this is the web site owner and operator, because no one wants the site to succeed as much as this individual.

However, if you are not a great writer, you can always hire professionals to help you with this task. If your web site is a business then treat it as such and pay professionals to do the job right.

Always Use Quality Over Quantity.

When it comes to web site content there are some ‘dos’ and ‘don’t’ here.

When adding content to a specific section on your site set limits on the word count. A web site is NOT a novel. Web site content is mostly scan-read by your visitors who are searching for solutions to their problems, so make your content accessible to them.

Give them what they want… good information that’s easily digested (read) by the busy surfer. The easiest way to do this is mimic the structure of a newspaper article. The headline “pulls” you into reading the article, and the sub headers “pull” you into continuing reading a section within that article. If you scan read the article you should know what (in essence) it’s all about.

Content which is to long can drive viewers away because they are likely to get bored, and it’s just to much hard work to “digest’ the information that’s being presented to them. With the advent of multimedia technologies you can now very easily “mix it up” for the reader/ visitor as well.

Look at your site through the eyes of a potential visitor. Your purpose (with content) is to give the reader what they’re searching for as quickly and as efficiently as possible. When you write to entertain yourself or show how smart you are you will quickly lose your audience. Be direct, to the point and give you reader the core facts.

Good Content Flows Naturally.

The writing style of the web is “conversational”. This is good news for the person who is not a natural writer. If you have difficulty writing then don’t… TALK into a tape recorder. Then, transpose what you’ve just spoken into words.

Natural flowing web content is like a good conversation. It flows back and forth between the parties involved in the conversation. When you’re writing your content THINK of the visitor and speak to them personally. If you adopt this technique as a writing strategy then your writing with naturally flow, and it will have “you” in it.

This strategy will help you develop content that is more natural. You see, in a faceless place (like the Internet) we Human Beings will always respond more positively to information which has the personality of you (the writer) in it.

And (guess what) you’re the only person who can write ‘you’ . So, if a piece feels unnatural to you when it’s being written (it’s not you) then most likely it will look uncomfortable to the reader on your web site as well.

Proofread Before You Publish.

This is just about being a professional. You are a professional, aren’t you?

Some of the most unnecessary mistakes made with web site content writing are grammatical. Please, please, please (and please again) run spell check before you publish.

Web site content with spelling and basic grammar mistakes just make you look ridiculous, and are completely unacceptable. If you want your site to be taken seriously then proofread your articles numerous times before you publish them.

Proofreading ensures that you are delivering information that is intelligent and complete. It may help you to read your text out loud, in order to hear what it actually sounds like. Although it may seem unnecessary for you to do this you will find that the response to your work will be much better when there are no mistakes in it.

And, here’s something else for you to think about, “If the greatest writers in the world need to work with Editors/ proofreaders why would you expect to be different?”

As you can see there are a number of important aspects involved in the development of good web site content. Focus on your passion, deliver quality, and be concerned about the flow of your content. Of course if you would prefer to not worry about these matters then hiring a professional writer is always the way to go here.

However, if you are up to the challenge then try writing your own content. All you need do is just relax and begin writing. And, here’s a writer’s trick to get the creative juices flowing. Before you attempt to write any article just write about anything for 10 straight minutes. This technique calms down the inner critic long enough for you to actually write.

Let the content come to you without effort. Try different approaches with your writing and you will quickly learn what works best for you, your site and the content that your visitors are interested in reading. As long as it feels right to you when you read it on the site it will most likely work for your web site visitors too.

When I was a professional musician I asked my drum teacher one day “When will I be a drummer?” He said “Do you have a drum kit?” I said, “Yes, I have a drum kit.” He replied, “Well, that makes you a drummer. However, it doesn’t make you a good one. So keep practicing”. My point here is this, “keep practicing and you too will become (in this case) a great web site content writer”.

Online Marketing For Cosmetic Surgery

Posted on Nov 22, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment

Plastic surgery marketing is a large part of the business, and plastic surgery Internet marketing is really the most cost effective way to get more patients into your clinic. However, there is a right way and a wrong way to for plastic surgery marketing.

First of all, what was true about the “Field of Dreams” is not true about Internet web sites; simply because you build it doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily come. In order for your website to work effectively with a plastic surgery Internet marketing campaign, you’ll need to drive traffic - or visitors - to your site. One of the best things you can do to help your plastic surgeon marketing efforts on the World Wide Web is to obtain services from a reputable Search Engine Optimization company.

Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is the science of getting a website at or near the top of Internet search results. It is not one thing or strategy, but rather a number of different strategies that are focused on increasing the visibility of a web site on the Internet. That means your cosmetic surgery online marketing efforts will yield much better results when it comes to expanding your client base.

Effective plastic surgeon marketing on the World Wide Web means getting visitors to your site, and this involves four primary elements: Keywords, Meta Tags, Content and Backlinks. By studying and employing these elements scientifically, SEO consultants can greatly increase traffic to your site and help in making your plastic surgery Internet marketing efforts a success.

The concept of keywords and phrases is greatly misunderstood, and more complicated than most business owners realize. For example, in order for cosmetic surgery online marketing to be effective in terms of keywords, you’ll have to stop thinking like a plastic surgeon and start thinking like a patient who is seeking information about plastic surgery on the World Wide Web. Keywords and phrases used by such people are not always the obvious ones - and even change over time. SEO consultants conduct in-depth research and analysis in order to determine the exact keyword phrases that web surfers are using at any given time.

Another key to effective plastic surgeon marketing it meta tags. These are part of the underlying HTML code that visitors to a website do not necessarily see (unless they use the “View Source” option) that contains descriptive keywords about the site - which may be, but are not necessarily the same as common search terms. Meta tags are mainly for the search engines’ indexing software, or “spiders.”

It’s important to have good, relevant content on your website; cosmetic surgeon marketing won’t work very well if your site wastes a great deal of bandwidth on irrelevant content. All articles and video content on the website should be related to cosmetic surgery or your practice.

One of the most important factors in web site ranking however is the number of backlinks. Having many sites that link back to your own can greatly help your cosmetic surgery online marketing efforts by getting you higher rankings in search engine results. Generating these backlinks is a large part of what SEO consultants do in order to maximize plastic surgery Internet marketing success.

SEO services won’t break your plastic surgery marketing budget either; in fact, compared with traditional advertising, SEO services are one of the best deals around in plastic surgeon marketing, which is why so many cosmetic surgery practices use SEO for their plastic surgery marketing campaigns.
